Through their nonprofit charity, the San Antonio Spurs Foundation, the team participates in a wide range of community service activities for and with the youth and families of South Texas. As a participant in the Sports Philanthropy Project, the Spurs Foundation joins with the charitable foundations of other NBA teams to work towards community betterment.
